G-BOAD, which holds the speed record for crossing the Atlantic, was displayed at the USS Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in NYC following her retirement. During renovations of the Intrepid, G-BOAD was moved to Floyd Bennett Field. While at FBF, a delivery truck struck her distinctive nose, breaking it off.
