On October 21, 2011, a Grumman EA-6B Prowler returned to Long Island for the last time. As the Prowlers are being retired by the US Navy, this aircraft made its last flight to Republic Airport. After a decommissioning process, the Prowler will remain at the American Airpower Museum until a final display location is prepared at the Grumman plant in Bethpage.
